Today’s episode is very exciting for me because today we are going to be talking about my new group program that is opening for the first time in January 2026 and I have been wanting to do a bit of a deeper dive into why this program will be a powerful tool for healing your IBS in this New Year and also go into more details about what exactly we will be focusing in this group.
Today we’ll also talk about why it’s powerful to heal in connection with other women and the ten focus areas that will get your attention in the New Year if you are truly ready to make healing your priority this year.

Why the Collective-Healing Together IBS
Since I started my business, I have mostly been focused on offering 1-1 four month packages because I have felt that IBS is such an individual disorder in many ways, by which I mean that what is contributing to one person’s IBS may be entirely different from what is making someone else’s IBS really bad.
So it makes sense that up until now I have prioritized working with and helping women heal 1-1 –really getting deep into what’s going on for them personally and uncovering the stressors and factors in their life that are keeping them sick.
Recently though I realized that though it is true that women have individual factors that are making their IBS flare and stick in their lives, there is a ton of overlap with what those factors and problem areas are, and there are some common and simple strategies that almost all women suffering from IBS can benefit from and need to learn about.
This was how I was inspired to create my first group program and to narrow down the top priorities for healing IBS, where most women need more awareness and attention around, and a dedicated space to practice within
I recently realized there are so many ways that a group program is ideal for healing IBS —-human beings are wired to heal in connection to each other. Connection is one of the strongest signals for healing and having that safety is the foundation for healing our guts. Healing together with other women reduces the shame that you have associated with this disorder and the feeling of “being alone in it” and feeling too embarrassed to talk about what you’re going through.
In a group setting with other women going through what you have been through, shame evaporates and along with it can melt that freeze state which keeps your gut stuck and afraid, which keeps your nervous system looping from fear to pain and back again.
Having this connection and also this co-regulation——which just means together we are being seen, you are shifting towards calm together —which can be beautifully empowering and impactful.
Having that feeling of safety can directly translate to better digestion. Safety allows your body to reduce inflammation, improves gut motility and allows for that sense of being on alert to slowly dissipate. These are the secrets to healing your IBS that no one is talking much about.
The Ten Areas of Weekly Focus for the Collective
A few women have already asked if I could get into more details around what exactly will be covered in theHealing Her IBS collective and I know that sharing with you over the podcast is a great way to get that information to you. The collective is a ten week program and I have thought very deeply around what would be the best ten areas of focus for each week and how to program it for ideal healing, for ideal rewiring of our nervous systems and getting a glimpse into what’s going on for you and your fellow sufferers.
The first week our focus will be around envisioning our future selves and connecting strongly with that vision we have for ourselves living without IBS. This step is the most essential step and the one that is the foundation for your growth in this program. I will run you through a guided future self-meditation and you will get deeply and emotionally connected to the part of you that craves health and well-being. I will coach you through how to hold onto this vision daily and for the rest of your lives so that during hard moments you aren’t dragged down into your fears, as is so easy and natural for us to do.
Week two will cover the second most important topic for healing IBS—which is mindset and gut calming practices. You will learn a little bit about the science of the brain to gut axis and how it causes IBS to keep on going even when it seems to make no sense. I will lead you through several practices that will calm your gut through calming your brain and I will coach you through how to make these practices easily a part of your daily and weekly routine. This is at the beginning of the program, because it is the most effective area for healing that is most often overlooked and ignored in many traditional circles. It is the area I needed to learn that took me way too long to understand and grasp deeply— so I am going to teach this life saving practice right away.
Week Three and Four will cover food foundations and the importance of mircrobioime diversity, as well as the rhythms and routines of eating in our life. You know that when it comes to IBS food matters; it is not the only factor by any means, but it is essential we cover how it affects your IBS and how it doesn’t. Changing my diet and teaching myself deeply about nutrition is another essential area of growth for women with IBS. We will walk through he basics of the Low FodMap protocol and I will teach the essential difference and timing of when to restrict food to help lower your triggers with the long term goal of having an exceedingly rich and diverse diet; which creates a healthy gut and will serve to fortify your body and protect you from future IBS flares.
Week Five’s Focus will be on activating joy in your life and the Vegus Nerve for IBS healing. There is ample research to support the role of the Vegus nerve in IBS and I will teach you practices that will light up your Vegus nerve and improve it’s tone, as well as cover the importance of joy in healing IBS.
Week Six will go over nervous system safety and tackling triggers as they come up. Understanding the nervous system connection to IBS is the most underrated and hugely impactful area for healing and I will coach you around how to get more deeply in touch with your body’s signals, and how to calm triggers as they come up so that you can rework the way your nervous system is responding to that pain and worry. This is so so important!!
Week Seven and Eight will get into two very important and interconnected subjects that are so near and dear to my heart as a woman who was dealing with IBS—we will explore how the gut is a messenger to our hearts and begin to reframe the way we have been thinking about our IBS. This is a unique process for each woman, but I will walk you through how to connect to your gut and what it is trying to communicate to you, so that you can understand how your body is truly trying to protect you even though it seems like it’s attacking you. From there, we will work on setting boundaries in our lives—answering the call of our guts and our hearts in a very practical and everyday life way. Coaching this week will revolve around coming to terms with our current realities and how to proactively better protect our vital energy so it can be directed to lifelong health and well-being.
Week Nine will be so special as it will work on the concept of our intuition or “following our guts” and I will provide an incredibly effective framework for how to integrate the work we have done and weave it into your lives going forward—-which is a missing piece to truly getting better.
Week Ten will be our Celebration week and where we strategize together what’s next for each of us, finding out how we can best support one another in this healing journey moving forward and in general celebrating the work we have done over the past ten weeks.
Details of the Healing Her IBS Collective
We will start the program on January 11th and meet at 10am EST//7am Pacific time over Zoom and every week you will have some small assignments, journal reflections and prompts as well as access to a WhatsApp group I will create specifically for the women signed up in this group, a place that will allow you to share and support each other through the ten week process.
The group will meet every Sunday from January 11th to March 15th and in between sessions I will be asking you to focus on a specific task, habit or practice. The following week we will meet and check in and have accountability for these new tasks and practices as you build each week new insights and practices to incorporate into your daily life.
I intentionally want to keep the group small between 5 and 10 women so that it’s an intimate group that can have the time and the space to share and be heard together. When you sign up before December 28th, you can have access to the group for $497 which you can pay in full or in three monthly payments of $165. After December 28th (which is my son’s birthday!) the price will go up to $597, so get in early if you want to save those $100.
